The lodge is located in a wonderful hilltop position in the delightful valley, offering a slightly alternative and retro vibe. Guests can enjoy the convenience of being across from the famous "Running Iron" historical bar, as well as easy access to Carmel Valley Village and its wine tasting experiences. The rooms are clean and comfortable, providing a quiet retreat after a day of exploring. Additionally, the manager is helpful and responsive to any issues that may arise.
Some aspects of the lodge need improvement, such as the outdated electrical outlets and the lack of staff on-site.
